Meet Emily Reneau

Emily Reneau, Director of Development for the San Luis Obispo Symphony, brings more than 20 years of nonprofit fundraising and community leadership experience to the organization.

Emily’s career began as the founding president of the Paso Robles Children’s Museum, where she discovered a passion for philanthropy, community engagement, and building organizations that positively impact families and local communities.

Over the years, she has served in leadership and fundraising roles with organizations including:

Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast
American Heart Association
Atascadero Chamber of Commerce

Today, Emily combines her passion for the arts with her expertise in marketing, fundraising, and community relations to help expand the Symphony’s reach and impact throughout the Central Coast.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time in the local wine industry, visiting the beach, and embracing life as an empty nester with her three grown children.

Founded in 1954, the San Luis Obispo Symphony has become one of the region’s most respected arts organizations.
